Scott Burnside of ESPN writes today in his "5 things" blog that maybe it is time for the sinking Devils to unload assets, starting with the unthinkable, Martin Brodeur. In his argument he mentions the Capitals as a team that might be interested. I personally do not buy it. It would cost too many prospects and Brodeur is not the goalie he once was. But it was an interesting read.
